Desserts with Barbara

Dates: March 6 to May 8, 2017

Day: Monday
Time: 3:30 to 4:30 PM
Place: Willow Creek Academy school kitchen
Price: $200 for 8 weekly sessions.

Kids love desserts and yours will learn how to make some of the most delicious classics in this class.

Think Mexican tres leche cake, lemon squares, chocolate mousse pie, mango ice cream, cheesecake with fruit topping, mixed berry cobbler, chocolate chipper ice cream sandwiches—and—a spectacular session where your kids create and devour the Amazing, Exploding Volcano cake. Unforgettable!

Cooking International with Barbara 

Dates: March 8 to May 3, 2017

Day: Wednesday
Time: 3:30 to 4:30 PM
Place: Willow Creek Academy school kitchen
Price: $200 for 8 weekly sessions.

Your kids will explore all aspects of the kitchen with international cuisine in the spotlight. Along the way, they will learn basic skills and techniques as well as how to use herbs and spices.

That’ll come in handy when they prepare divine dishes like Mexican tacoss, French toast with fruit syrup, Indian chana masala with mango lassies, freshly made Italian pesto on pasta, Mexican chilaquiles rojas with chicken, Chinese won ton soup, and American ice cream-filled cupcakes. We’ll finish this series with a special pizza making session that teaches the kids how to make dough, throw it high in the air, and create delicious topping combinations.
